Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how QRMotion handles its users’ information. It applies to the QRMotion app on iOS and, when available, on Android.

The most important point in one sentence: the content of the QR codes you create — links, WiFi passwords, contact details — is processed exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

1. Data Controller

Ricardo Ulises Eslava Ventura, sole proprietor with business activity, domiciled in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, is the controller responsible for processing the personal data described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information We Do Not Collect

QRMotion does not collect, does not store on servers and does not transmit any of the following:

• The content of your QR codes. The links, text, WiFi network passwords, contact details, email addresses, phone numbers, messages and event data you type into the app are processed only in your device’s memory.
• Your code history. It is stored exclusively in local device storage.
• Photos or images. The app does not access your photo library. When you add a logo, it uses the operating system’s image picker, which hands the app only the file you selected.
• Your geographic location. The app does not request or use location permissions.
• Your contacts. The app does not access your address book.
• Camera and microphone. The app does not request these permissions.
• Personally identifying information. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or account creation. QRMotion works without registration.

2.2 Information We Do Collect (anonymous)

For advertising, product improvement and purchase validation, the following data is processed, all of it anonymous or pseudonymized:

None of this data allows us to identify you personally or to reconstruct the information you entered into the app.

3. How We Use Information

The data described in section 2.2 is processed for the following purposes:

• Supporting the free version through advertising.
• Improving the app, by identifying which features are used and which are not.
• Fixing errors, based on crash reports.
• Validating in-app purchases and allowing them to be restored on the user’s other devices.

No automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects on the user is carried out.

4. Third Parties We Share Information With

The anonymous data described is shared with the following service providers, each subject to its own privacy policy:

• Apple Inc. (United States) — app distribution and in-app purchase processing on iOS. https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
• Google LLC (United States) — advertising via Google AdMob, usage analytics via Firebase Analytics, crash reporting via Firebase Crashlytics, remote configuration via Firebase Remote Config and, where applicable, distribution and purchase processing on Google Play. https://policies.google.com/privacy
• RevenueCat, Inc. (United States) — validation and restoration of in-app purchases. https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

International transfer of data. The providers listed are based in the United States of America and process information on servers located outside Mexican territory. By using QRMotion, you consent to this international transfer under the terms set out in the Mexican Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

5. Your Data Rights

Under the Mexican Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, you have the right to access your personal data, rectify it when inaccurate, cancel it when you consider it is no longer needed, and object to its processing for specific purposes. These are known collectively as ARCO rights.

Because QRMotion stores no personal data on servers of ours, most of these rights are exercised directly from your device:

• Access and rectification: all the information you entered is visible and editable within the app.
• Cancellation: you can delete codes individually from the history, or remove all local data by uninstalling the app.
• Objection to advertising processing: you can revoke tracking permission in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking (iOS) or reset your advertising identifier in Settings › Google › Ads (Android). You can also remove advertising entirely by purchasing the Premium version.

For any other request relating to your data rights, write to legal@inmottion.mx stating your request and a means of contact. We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days.

6. Children’s Data

QRMotion is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children of that age. The app requires no registration and requests no personally identifiable information from any user.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child in your care has provided information through the app, please write to legal@inmottion.mx so we can address the situation.

7. Advertising and Tracking Consent

On iOS. Before displaying advertising, the app presents the system’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you do not grant authorization, the advertising you see will be non-personalized: ads will still be shown, but your advertising identifier will not be used to target them.

In the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. When the app becomes available in those regions, consent for advertising is requested through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP), in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. Consent granted can be withdrawn at any time from the app’s settings.

In all cases, purchasing the Premium version removes advertising entirely.

8. Security

The information you enter into QRMotion remains in your device’s local storage, protected by the encryption and app-sandboxing mechanisms provided by your operating system.

Because we operate no servers of our own and hold no user databases, there is no central repository that could be subject to a data breach.

Please bear in mind that the security of the information contained in a QR code depends on how you share it: anyone who scans a code containing your WiFi network password will be able to connect to that network.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the app, in the third-party services it uses, or in applicable law. The date of the most recent update appears at the top of this document.

Substantial changes will be communicated by publishing the updated version at this same address. Continued use of the app after such publication constitutes acceptance of the policy in force.

By downloading and using QRMotion, you confirm that you have read and understood this privacy policy and that you accept the processing of your data on the terms described here.
