Help & Support

Husos · Last updated: July 22, 2026

Getting Started

  1. The first time you open the app you’ll see a short welcome that explains the time slider. You can go through it or skip it.
  2. Husos starts from your local zone, taken from your system settings.
  3. Tap Add zone and search for a city by name. Tap it to add it to your list.
  4. Tap any city to set it as the reference; the others will show their difference relative to it.
  5. Drag the slider to explore other times, and use the arrows to change the day.

Compare and Convert in One View

Husos doesn’t separate “compare” from “convert” — they’re the same thing. With the slider at the current position you see the time live; when you drag it, you freeze a hypothetical hour and every city recalculates to that moment. This answers questions like “if it’s 3 p.m. here, what time is it there?” instantly.

Managing Your Cities

You can reorder the list by pressing and holding a city and dragging it. To remove one, swipe it left or use the context menu (press and hold). Your local zone never ends up empty: if you delete everything, the app shows your system zone again.

Tips for Better Results

  • Set the city of the person you’re coordinating with as the reference: you’ll see everything from their point of view.
  • Use the day and night indicator to rule out uncomfortable times before proposing them.
  • If you travel, change your local zone manually from Settings to see everything from your destination.

Troubleshooting

The app shows an incorrect local zone. Husos uses the zone configured in your system. Check it on iOS under Settings › General › Date & Time. You can also set a manual local zone from Settings inside the app.

Ads keep appearing after buying Premium. Close and reopen the app so it can sync the purchase. If it continues, open Settings inside the app and tap “Restore purchase.”

I can’t find a city in the search. Try a nearby major city or its English name. The catalog covers the world’s main cities; for very small locations, use the nearest major city in the same time zone.

I’m concerned about ad tracking. You can decline the tracking request on iOS without losing any feature; you’ll simply see less personalized ads. Adjust this under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Privacy

Husos does not collect your content or your precise location. The app runs on your device and only uses third-party services for ads, anonymous analytics, and purchases. You can read the full detail in our privacy policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the app work without an internet connection?

Yes. All time zone and city data ships inside the app, so you can look up and convert times in airplane mode or with no signal. Only ad loading and purchases require a connection.

Why doesn't the app ask for permissions?

Husos needs no location, camera, contacts, or microphone to work. Your local time zone comes from your system settings, not from GPS. The only prompt you'll see on iOS is the advertising tracking request, which you can decline without losing any feature.

How do I change the reference city?

Tap any city in the list to set it as the reference (anchor). The other cities will show their time difference relative to it. The first time you have two or more cities, a hint will remind you.

How do I see the time at a different date or moment?

Drag the time slider to move the hour within the day, and use the arrows to change the day. Every city recalculates instantly. To return to the current time, tap the “Now” button.

Is daylight saving time calculated correctly?

Yes. Offsets are computed for the exact date you look up using the international time zone database. If you move the time to a date when a city switches daylight saving, the difference adjusts automatically.

How many cities can I add for free?

The free version allows up to 4 zones, including your local zone. When you try to add a fifth, you'll be offered the Premium version with unlimited zones.

What does the Premium version include?

Premium is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited zones and removes ads. It is not a subscription: you pay once and keep it.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Settings inside the app and tap “Restore purchase.” Your purchase is recovered with the same Apple ID you used to buy it, at no extra cost.

I bought Premium but still see ads. What should I do?

Close and reopen the app so it can sync your purchase. If it persists, use “Restore purchase” in Settings. If it still doesn't apply, write to us and we'll sort it out.

Where do the city names come from?

The city catalog is based on GeoNames data (CC-BY 4.0 license). You can search by name in Spanish or English, and even by common abbreviations such as “CDMX.”

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Go to reportProblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the purchase, and request the refund. We can guide you, but the final decision is Apple's.

Will there be an Android version?

We are evaluating an Android version. For now Husos is available on Apple devices only.
