These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Husos application (“the App”), developed and distributed under the Inmottion brand. By downloading or using the App, you accept these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Service Description

Husos is a tool that lets you compare and convert the time across several time zones using a time slider, with a day and night indicator and daylight saving time calculation. The App runs locally on your device and does not require a user account.

3. License to Use

You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own, in accordance with App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the App except to the extent permitted by law.

4. Premium Features and In-App Purchases

The App offers a free version with ads and a zone limit, and a Premium version acquired through a one-time purchase (not a subscription). The Premium version unlocks unlimited zones and removes ads. Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and are also governed by Apple’s terms.

4.1 Refund Policy

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. To request a refund, use reportProblem.apple.com with your Apple ID. We can offer guidance, but the final decision rests with Apple.

4.2 Price Changes

We may change the price of the Premium version in the future. Any price change does not affect purchases already made: because it is a one-time purchase, you keep the access you acquired.

5. Advertising

The free version displays ads provided by Google AdMob. The data handling related to advertising is described in our privacy policy. The Premium version removes ads.

6. Accuracy of Time Zone Data and Daylight Saving Time

Notice: the accuracy of the times shown depends on the international time zone database being up to date, on your device’s date and time settings being correct, and on governmental decisions about time zones and daylight saving time, which can change on short notice.

Husos calculates time differences from the international time zone database (IANA) bundled with the App, applying the daylight saving rules in effect for the date you look up. These values are reference calculations, not a certified time source and not a substitute for official clocks. Governments may change their time zone or daylight saving rules; when that happens, the App reflects the change only after its database is updated through a new version.

We are not responsible for decisions made based on the times shown by the App, including missed meetings, off-hours calls, travel connections, or other consequences. Always verify critical information with an official source before acting.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, its code, and its trademarks are the property of Ricardo Ulises Eslava Ventura or its licensors, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The city catalog is based on GeoNames data, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license (CC-BY 4.0).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the previous 12 months or twenty US dollars (USD), whichever is less.

9. Indemnification

You agree to hold Ricardo Ulises Eslava Ventura harmless from any claim, damage, or expense arising from your misuse of the App or your breach of these terms.

10. User Conduct

You agree to use the App in accordance with the law and not to use it for unlawful purposes or in any way that interferes with its operation or that of third parties.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Third-Party Services

The App uses services from Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. Use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and policies.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The date of the last update appears at the top of the document. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.

16. Entire Agreement

These terms, together with the privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the App.
